Burdened with a demanding five-year-old, a reclusive nine-year-old, and an employer who doesn’t hide his issues with John’s parenting methods, John could do without a case that has no leads, no M.O., and no clues except for a whole lot of field mice and some body parts. Hi! Got rec'd over here by aubergineautumn. The fic looks really interesting and I look forward to reading it. (Oh, and your html is showing.)

Huh. Damn. It really is. And it was fine two days ago, too. *shakes head at livejournal*

Looking forward to hearing your opinion. :)

I read it)) Wow, I like the atmosphere of this story. And I love Sammy! He is awesom! Bad, bad little monkey xD
And John is so strong... like always.

Oh, and beautiful art! Very similar to a ballad of Goethe "Forest King" ("Erlkönig" in German?). Well, I have experienced this kind of association, at least.

Thank you so much! It probably shows that Sam & John interactions are my favorite, hm? *sheepish grin*

I love the art. Prosodi is amazing. And yes, I do know that ballad. (Does that mean you're German/German-speaking?)

No, despite my love for Rammstein, I do not know a word in German)) I just not sure how exactly the name of this ballad in English. Thats why I found German name. We've learned this ballad in Russian translation, you know... in school))

Ramms+ein are pretty big in Russia, aren't they?

Hmm, that's interesting. I live in the States, and most people just look at me blankly when I mention German poets, so I guess I just got used to assuming that nobody outside of Germany knows about them.

Oh, is Rammstein less popular in other countries? I don't know))) I only lived in Russia))

Goethe is not just a German poet, it's a world classic literature. I do not know German poets at all, but Goethe, Schiller, Hesse, Nietzsche, Heine and etc - they too famous to be unrecognized.
Shit, I think my English is poor. xD I'm too lazy to speak it.

Honestly, I don't really know. I just know they're supposed to be big in Russia and South America.

Eh, that's still a pretty big number to know.
Are there any Russian poets you'd recommend?

uh, really I'm not very interested in poetry. I love the prose. so I have no favorite Russian poets. Lermontov, maybe.
I do not know your preferences. Many people like the poetry of Akhmatova and Tsvetaeva. but it is not mine, I think. very feminine.
Brodsky, he is cool.
oh, and Mandelstam. I do not know how it sounds in English. "Insomnia. Homer. Taut sails." - this is my favorite poem))

Awesome. I'll have to check them out.

What kind of prose do you read then?

ok, time for mail, I guess)))
